The organisation works with people affected by leprosy and other neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), people with disabilities, and marginalised communities, especially women.     Job Summary:

    Under the direction of the medical superintendent, carry out dispensing of medicines; inventory control of pharmacy and stores, stock management and reporting on expiry of drugs, etc.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    The Pharmacist will:

    • Be responsible for all the items of medical stores.
    • Ensure that stocks are replenished regularly from the main medical stores.
    • Be responsible for checking the expiry dates of drugs and medicines and arrange timely consumption or replacement thereof.
    • Dispense drugs and stores as per the doctor’s prescription to out-patients and make them available on indents to authorised staff from wards/OPD/village clinics, for dispensing.
    • Maintain the price list of each item of drugs and prepare a tariff for the purpose of costing them.
    • Be responsible for the account of all drugs and medicines by entering the receipts with number of vouchers and cost and their issues properly and check all the items and see that registers and stock books and bin cards are kept up to date and will check all the items periodically.
    • Prepare medicine budget.
    • Prepare the indents monthly, half yearly or annually to reduce cost.

    Educational qualification and skills requirement:

    • Pharm/Diploma in Pharmacy
    • Registered with West Bengal Pharmacy Council with valid renewal up-to-date.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • As representative of TLMTI, you will raise monetary support for TLMTI by approaching people through Tele-calling & Face to Face conversations.
    • You will learn about the work of TLMTI, our beneficiaries and their life changing stories
    • You will engage people in conversations through tele-calling appointment or Face to Face meeting
    • You will be responsible for enrolling donors, as per the given target on monthly basis, through tele-calling or Face to Face meeting and by personal visits after taking the appointments.
    • You will work in a team and help your colleagues to achieve results.
    • As a representative of TLMTI, you will need to show commitment and need to follow the rules

    QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • Young & dynamic go-getters who like interacting with new people every day.
    • You must possess excellent communication skills in English and Hindi/Kannada/Tamil.
    • You must have the capacity to engage people in interesting conversations during face to face meetings.
    • You must also have at least 6 months to 1 year of direct sales or fundraising experience.
