The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI) believes in holistic care and works for healing, inclusion and dignity for people affected by leprosy and the marginalised communities. We are focused on health, sustainable livelihood, individual and community empowerment, advocacy and communication, and research and training. These programmes are implemented in 10 states of India – Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal through 14 hospitals and two clinics, six vocational training centres, five residential care homes for
elderly persons affected by leprosy, seven community empowerment projects, and a research laboratory.

We are looking for Medical Doctors at various locations:

Specialist Doctors:

  1. Dermatologist at Uttar Pradesh (Barabanki, Faizabad and Naini), Maharashtra (Kothara),Bihar (Muzaffarpur) and West Bengal (Purulia).
  2. Gynaecologist at Uttar Pradesh (Faizabad) and Chhattisgarh (Champa).
  3. Ophthalmologist at Uttar Pradesh (Naini), Bihar (Muzaffarpur), Chhattisgarh (Chandkhuri).
  4. General Medicine at West Bengal (Purulia), Andhra Pradesh (Salur), Delhi (Shahdara) and Tamilnadu (Vadathorasalur) and
  5. Orthopaedic Surgeon at Bihar (Muzaffarpur).

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for clinical management (IP and OP) of the Specialty.
  2. Plan and execute sustainability of the program. (concerned speciality).
  3. Responsible for the management (IP and OP) of Leprosy.
  4. Will take part in other activities of the Hospital like CME, Training, Research etc as applicable.

Qualification:

Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in relevant field with or without experience.

Medical Officers:

  1. Uttar Pradesh (Barabanki and Naini)
  2. Chhattisgarh (Champa and Chandkhuri)
  3. West Bengal (Kolkata and Purulia) and
  4. Bihar (Muzaffarpur)

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for management of Primary Medical Care.
  2. Assist and manage secondary care under supervision of the Specialist or Senior Medical Officers.
  3. Responsible for the management (OP and IP) of Leprosy.
  4. Will take part in other activities of the Hospital like CME, Training, Research etc as applicable.
  • Qualification : MBBS Degree with MCI / State Medical Council Registration with or without experience.
  • Accommodation : Provided in the hospital campus, partly furnished Doctor’s Quarters wherever available.
  • Work Hours : 08:00am to 05:30 pm or till OPD/ Ward work is completed. Saturdays are half days, with 2 Saturdays off in a month. Sundays are holidays (except when on duty); apart from National Holidays, 3.5 days leave in a month.
