Clinical Research

Clinical research is conducted in TLMTI hospitals across the country. These may be multicentre projects, or sometimes done at individual centres. The focus of this research is on prevention of disability, early detection, psychosocial aspects, treatment of lepra reactions and relapse, and drug resistance. Doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other staff in the hospital conduct the research.
