General Surgery

TLMTI surgeons provide reconstructive and general surgical services for non-leprosy problems, as well. These could be for people with leprosy and others who may not be affected by leprosy.

More than 8,500 surgical consultations every year are for non-leprosy conditions. Over 1,100 minor and 400 major general surgical procedures are done every year in its hospitals where surgeons are available.
