About Us

The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI) established in 1874, is the largest Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in India, working with persons affected by leprosy, disability and other marginalised communities for over 143 years, in the areas of health, education, sustainable livelihoods, community development, advocacy and communication, research and training. TLMTI has 14 hospitals, 6 Vocational Training Institutes, a state-of-the-art Research Laboratory, 5 small residential facilities (Snehalayas) for the care of elderly people who are disabled due to leprosy, and community-based development projects across 9 states in the country. TLMTI also supports the National Leprosy Eradication Program.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Carry out research work of the project funded by ICMR,
  2. Carry out wet lab experiments at SBL to fulfil the objectives,
  3. Visit field and TLM Hospitals as and when required.
  4. Maintain the record of the results in presentable form (both soft & hard copy).
  5. Keep a track of consumables required for the work.
  6. Assist the PI in preparation of various reports related to the research work.
  7. Carryout any other departmental work as directed by PI.
  8. Based in Stanley Browne Laboratory, TLM Community Hospital, Nand Nagari, Delhi
  • Essential Qualification: : M.Sc. in Life Sciences
  • Experience: : Fresh
  • Languages: : English and Hindi
  • Monthly Remuneration: : As per ICMR norms
  • Travel : As required.
