The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI) established in 1874, is the largest Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in India, working with persons affected by leprosy, disability, and other marginalized communities for over 147 years, in the areas of health, education, sustainable livelihoods, community development, advocacy and communication, research and training. TLMTI has 14 hospitals, 6 Vocational Training Institutes, a state-of-the-art Research Laboratory, 5 small residential facilities (Snehalayas) for the care of elderly people who are disabled due to leprosy, and community-based development projects across 9 states in the country. TLMTI also supports the National Leprosy Eradication Program.

Role summary:

Position in the organisation:

This position will report to the Superintend of TLMTI community hospital in Naini, Prayagraj

Responsibilities and deliverables:

  1. Provide leadership and mentoring support to the college staff and ensure that the planned activities are implemented as per the college calendar.
  2. Work closely with the finance department in developing financial systems for the college, undertake budgeting and ensuring spending as per the budgets.
  3. Ensure quality of teaching is as per the standards set by the organisation and affiliated university.
  4. Ensure all legal requirements are met on a timely basis – enrolment of students to the university, managing the affiliation with the university, conducting examinations as per the timelines and instructions given by the affiliated university.
  5. Provide support to the college administration in ensuring quality maintenance of its infrastructure and plan for expansion as and when required.
  6. Ensure that the hostel facilities are managed properly and student discipline are maintained effectively.
  7. Any other responsibilities required by the management of the organisation.

Qualification, Experience, and soft skills:

  1. Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.T) / M.Sc., Physiotherapy with 10 years of total teaching experience.
  2. Ph.D is preferred, not mandatory.
  3. An excellent team player and a motivating leader with a zeal to go out of the way to achieve desired results as per the deliverables.
  4. Has a very creative bent of mind and inspires others to think out of the box solution to challenging issues.
  5. Computer savvy with a good working skill in MS Office (word, excel, powerpoint).
  6. Excellent public relations and government liaison skills .
  7. Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and any regional language optionally.

Salary and other benefits:

Will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
