The birth of a new partnership

Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (RECL), a public infrastructure finance company in India’s power sector, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI), to construct and equip operation theatres, maternity blocks and Intensive Care Units (ICU) in TLM Champa, Faizabad, and Vadathorasalur Hospitals.

Understanding the needs to plan interventions

The Community Intervention Unit (CIU) of TLM Shahdara Hospital, in New Delhi organised a need assessment camp for elderly persons affected by leprosy in Kasturba Gram Kusth Ashram, Tahirpur, New Delhi, on April 18.

Blood donation camp at TLM Naini Hospital

The Leprosy Mission Trust India’s (TLMTI) Naini Hospital, in Uttar Pradesh, along with TLMTI’s CREATE project organised a blood donation camp on April 14 at the hospital. Students of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Rotary Club, and Evangelical Union students, Allahabad, took part in the camp. The camp was organised to collect blood for free supply to leprosy patients undergoing treatment at the hospital.
