ALLAHABAD (UTTAR PRADESH): Rotary Club of Allahabad Elite, Uttar Pradesh, organised a special function ‘Party with a Purpose’ on April 21, in Allahabad, with Dr Ruby Marshala, Medical Superintendent of TLM Naini Hospital as the chief guest.

Dr Ruby took the opportunity to explain the work of TLM Naini Hospital with persons affected by leprosy in Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states. The participants were so touched by the work of the hospital that they promised all support – financial and otherwise – for the work of the hospital.

Rotary Club is an international non-political and non-sectarian service organisation open to all people regardless of race, colour, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. The stated purpose of the organisation is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services to persons and communities in need, among others.
