NEW DELHI: Here we’re announcing great news! The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI) received the NCPEDP Mindtree Helen Keller Award 2018 http://bit.ly/2Q6f6Hl, for promoting equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities (leprosy is one of the 21 disabilities mentioned in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016), under Category: Role Model organisations from the disability sector or outside who have shown their commitment towards promoting equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
The award was given away by Dr Satya Pal Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, Human Resource Development, Govt of India, in New Delhi, on December 2.
This award is a recognition of the exemplary work being done by all TLMTI staff who tirelessly work for promoting equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
