Sapna is going places!

SHAHDARA (NEW DELHI): Sapna, the leprosy awareness campaign mascot, conceptualised and developed by The Leprosy Mission Trust India (TLMTI) and adopted by the Government of India’s Central Leprosy Division, is all over the country spreading awareness about leprosy.

On August 11, the Community Intervention Unit attached to TLMTI’s Shahdara Hospital in New Delhi organised a street play for over 150 inpatients of Missionaries of Charity Hospital in Prem Nagar, Delhi, where Sapna was the main attraction.

After the street play, the participants played a game of Snakes and Ladders, which also teaches them many facts about leprosy.
