The Leprosy Mission Trust India’s SOAR project organised a prevention of impairment and disability camp for people affected by leprosy, in Kammapuram block of Cuddalore district, Tamil Nadu, on February 25.

The project staff did disability assessment for 65 people affected by leprosy who participated in the camp. They were given training in leprosy self-care and ulcer dressing. MCR protective footwear and various aids and appliances were provided to the needy. Eleven people were identified for reconstructive surgery (RCS).
