FAIZABAD (UTTAR PRADESH): The Leprosy Mission Trust India’s (TLMTI) College on Wheels project conducted an awareness programme on leprosy, gender and human rights in Kacholi village in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh on April 10. Over 190 people took part in the programme.

College on Wheels is a community empowerment project being implemented by TLMTI in Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh. Through this project, TLMTI aims to build job skills of girls and women affected by leprosy, facilitate the formation of self-help groups (SHGs) for income generation, and sensitise members of Panchayat Raj Institutions to gender, human rights, inclusion, and other needs people affected by leprosy.
